Courses and workshops

As part of the DFMH our Wellness Project offers courses and workshops to communities and organisations around mental health and wellbeing.

All of our workshops and courses are designed for individuals to gain information, skills and tools to help support and promote their health and wellbeing.

What do they cover?



Our workshops and programmes around all areas of mental health and wellbeing.

It provides opportunity for all individuals to access information and tools to support their wellbeing, physical and emotional health. ​ Current subjects covered:

  • Anxiety and Depression

  • Mindfulness

  • Work based wellbeing

  • Living within Midlife

  • Mental health awareness

  • Wellbeing for managers

  • Living within a 'New normal'

When do they take place?

Our courses and workshops run all year around.

We are able to provide training to both small and larger organisations in ways to suit the needs of the organisation, the managers and employees. Our programmes can be  booked and delivered at times and days to suit the organisational needs 

Online delivery enables us to reach individuals far and wide. Courses and workshops that are delivered each month are advertised on our Eventbrite page for individuals to purchase and attend via zoom.

Where do they take place?


Our workshops, courses and programmes are delivered both face to face and remotely online to suit the needs of individuals and organisations.

We are able to provide bespoke programmes and workshops to meet the needs of any organisation.

Currently due to Covid-19 restrictions, online delivery options are only available. We are closely monitoring the government guidelines and assessing the needs of our service users to ensure the safety of all our attendees.

Why the Wellness Project?

Here at the Derbyshire Federation for Mental Health are passionate in supporting individuals manage all aspects their mental health and wellbeing.

We feel that by helping to provide individuals and organisations with knowledge and tools to promote mental health this helps to reduce the risk of the development of chronic mental ill health.

Enabling people to become more active in creating and sustaining a wellness inspired culture for all.
