Courses and workshops
As part of the DFMH our Greenaway Project offers courses and workshops to communities and organisations around mental health and wellbeing.
All of our workshops and courses are designed for individuals to gain information, skills and tools to help support and promote their health and wellbeing.
What do they cover?
Our workshops and programmes around all areas of mental health and wellbeing.
It provides opportunity for all individuals to access information and tools to support their wellbeing, physical and emotional health. Current subjects covered:

When do they take place?
Our courses and workshops run all year around.
We are able to provide training to both small and larger organisations in ways to suit the needs of the organisation, the managers and employees. Our programmes can be booked and delivered at times and days to suit the organisational needs
Online delivery enables us to reach individuals far and wide. Courses and workshops that are delivered each month are advertised on our Eventbrite page for individuals to purchase and attend via zoom.

Where do they take place?
Our workshops, courses and programmes are delivered both face to face at our Greenaway site, at organisations premises and remotely online. We provide these options to suit the needs of individuals and organisations.
We are able to provide bespoke programmes and workshops to meet the needs of any organisation.
We continue to closely monitor the government guidelines around Covid-19 to ensure we are assessing the needs of our service users to ensure the safety of all our attendees.

Here at the Derbyshire Federation for Mental Health are passionate in supporting individuals manage all aspects their mental health and wellbeing.
We feel that by helping to provide individuals and organisations with knowledge and tools to promote mental health this helps to reduce the risk of the development of chronic mental ill health.

Mental Health Through
the Seasons
Free 4 week
Course - Ashbourne
This four week course explores the impact of each season on our wellbeing. It is designed to support ways in which to manage and maintain Mental Health in each season and across a year.
The course includes practical tools and strategies to support wellbeing along with handouts and resources.

Mental Health Through the Seasons
Free 4 week Course ONLINE
The course explores how we can manage and maintain our mental health within each season and across a year, it includes practical tools as well as strategies to support wellbeing along with resource packs. Seasonal follow-up group sessions will be on offer for those wanting to revisit aspects of the course. This course is aimed at those living with, or those supporting people with mild to moderate ill mental health, as well as anyone interested in self-development and building emotional resilience.
