Helen Boocock - (Chair)
I have lived in Derbyshire since 2000 and currently live in Darley Dale. After a lifetime working within the Criminal Justice System, mainly in Manchester and Derbyshire, I decided, when I retired, to put my experience to use as a volunteer.
Initially, this involved becoming Chair of Governors at a Matlock Primary School. I then saw an advert for trustees at the Derbyshire Federation for Mental Health and thought I could contribute both as a former senior manager and as someone with passing experience of working with people with mental health problems. I was invited to become the chair in 2021 and have enjoyed working with a lively bunch of staff and trustees for the last 5 years or so.

Pam Gregory - (Vice Chair)
I am a Clinical Biochemist by training but moved away from direct lab work and had a 30-year career in the Pharma Industry in Clinical Research, specialising in Oncology. I am now very busily retired! I love to travel and am also very happy to explore our lovely country. My hound dog keeps me fit and he is also a therapy dog which he adores!
In addition to being a board member for DFMH, I also volunteer at my local hospice on their oral histories project. Last but by no means least, I have four gorgeous grandsons who I have the pleasure of looking after most weeks.

Jane Mitchell - (Trustee)
From an early career in broadcast television, Jane moved into the world of corporate communications and employee engagement advising private and public sector organisations.
Since the early noughties, Jane’s focus has been on supporting leaders and corporate companies, (some of whom have experienced cultural trauma), in how to engage meaningfully with their values and ethics. And with the rise and rise of Employee Ownership in the UK, she has taken that experience into Trust Boards as an Independent Trustee and Board Chair.
Having moved to Matlock during the covid pandemic she is delighted to now have the opportunity to support DFMH in its vital work.

Andy Martin - (Trustee)
I joined DFMH in 2021, drawn to the organisation’s values and mission. My career, spanning nearly two decades, began in service delivery for substance misuse support and evolved into business development. Now, as the National Integrated Care Lead for Change Grow Live, I focus on fostering collaboration, ensuring seamless service provision, and improving outcomes through integrated care models. I bring both operational and strategic experience to my work and am passionate about ‘humanising’ health and social care.
Beyond work, I enjoy music, playing guitar, and attending gigs whenever possible. As a devoted sports fan, I’m particularly passionate about lesser-loved sports like NFL, Formula 1, and snooker. I’m also eager to travel more and explore new places.

Outside of work, I’m an animal lover and big sports fan, especially when it comes to football.
